江中軒   皮件設計、皮革等多項複合媒材

 

大學時期就讀產品設計相關科系，接觸多種媒材後對於皮革情有獨鍾，毅然決然暫停學業轉而積極參與皮革相關研習課程並創立個人公司。

在皮革技藝上已具備良好的基礎，結合本身產品設計的專業開發多種品項並對外創立品牌「Rossen羅森革作」，在設計及工藝間取得平衡，成為不隨波逐流的經典。

 

【Chung-Hsuan Chiang】Leather product, mixed media product design

 

Majoring in industrial design in college, Chung-Hsuan eventually found leather was the ultimate material that he enjoyed working with.  He quit college and signed up for a series of related workshops and eventually opened up a studio.

 

With his ample knowledge and familiarity with leather as a base, Chung-Hsuan brings in his past training in industrial design, establishing a factory (brand) called Rossen, which has the mission statement of finding a balance between artistic design and practical techniques.  That balance allows the brand to maintain its uniqueness.

羅森格作是一間致力打造高品質、個人化的皮革工作坊，以「皇冠樹」作為精神指標，用工藝者之名作為保證，致力於皮革工藝的扎根，做出兼具美感和機能，方便使用又可收藏賞玩的藝術商品。

 

Mj. Rossen is a leather crafting studio dedicated to high-quality custom leatherwork. We employ a crown-shaped tree as our logo, and the name of the craftsman in the brand name, as a symbol of commitment in taking root in the field of leather crafting, and in creating artistic and pragmatic collectables that can be used in daily life.

為追求理想中的皮製品，羅森革作發起人江中軒毅然投入皮革工藝領域，拆解經典款式，研發出能夠留下生活記憶的作品。在製作過程中，他領略到一件商品從無到有，須先實地設想顧客的使用方式，搭配扎實的工藝以及符合人體工學的設計，才能做出不退流行的經典。

 

In pursuit of ideal leather products, Marshall Jiang, the founder of Mj. Rossen, dives into the field of leather crafting, analyzes classic designs, and comes up with classy and durable products that retain the memories of our daily routine. As a craftsman, he realizes that to design a lasting classic from scratch, one needs solid craftsmanship, ergonomic design, and truly stands in the customers’ shoes.

 

工法嚴謹、造型內斂

Finess and Subtlety

 

好的皮革創作，首先要耐用，符合手感，才能成為陪伴人們留下許多故事的皮件。羅森革作採高安全性的一線雙針，內斂的流線造型，舒適易搭配的自然色系，所有原料皆由義大利百年老廠以植物劑料鞣製成革，符合羅森革作自然、優雅、低調、耐用的一貫風格。

 

Quality leatherwork has to be sturdy and comfortable for it to become a trusting companion. We use the durable double-stitches along single-thread, with streamlined design, pleasing natural colors, and vegetable-tanned leather from Italy, all in line with the core style of Mj. Rossen: Natural, elegant, subtle, durable.

 

緩慢生活

Slow Living

羅森革作起源於花蓮，台灣的後花園，也是江中軒的故鄉。他從小到大在這裡生活，喜歡緩慢而自在的生活步調，心靈因為慢有很大的伸展空間。他希望能夠藉由落腳花蓮創立品牌，能為花蓮的手創帶來更多正面影響，增加在地的工藝和設計能量。

 

Mj. Rossen was founded in Hualien, the utopia of Taiwan, and the home to Marshall. He grew up in hualien and enjoyed its cozy, slow-paced lifestyle, providing enough room for the souls to stretch. By settling down and starting a business in Hualien, Marshall hopes to bring a positive energy to the handicraft industry in Hualien.
