國立東華大學為東部唯一之綜合大學，向來以推動東部產業發展為己任，包括藝術學院、管理學院及各育成中心在內，針對東部原住民族部落文化、客家文創、石雕藝術創作與傳統工藝術創作等文創工作者，給予產品開發、創新設計與商品行銷等企業發長上，專業的顧問輔導與諮詢服務，以提升在地文創產業之競爭力與企業形象。

 

As the only comprehensive university in the east coast of Taiwan, National Dong Hua University (NDHU) undertakes the mission to facilitate industrial development of the east coast. The University, Including the College of The Arts, College of Management, and respective incubation centers, provide product development, innovative design, marketing, and professional guidance and consultation services for individuals working on eastern aboriginal culture, Hakka culture, stone art, and traditional arts & crafts. 

 

東部為台灣多元文化融合之特殊地區，包括原住民部落文化、石雕藝術、客家文創、生活創意、在地文創與傳統工藝等，創意藝術聚集之處，豐富且多樣之文創創作商品，充分展現創作者於在地開創藝術價值之活力，延續著東台灣珍貴之文化特色，並對於文化保留、文化創意產業的重視與用心，讓藝術之創作生命得以發揚。

 

Eastern Taiwan is unique in the aspect that it is melting pot of diverse culture. It is a place where nurtured aboriginal culture, stone art, Hakka culture, lifeful creativity, local cultural and creativity (C&C) industry, traditional art & craft, and creative arts have come together, a place that gives birth to abundant and diverse C&C products that demonstrate fully the vitality of artistic manifestations by local artists and craftspeople, inherit the cultural characteristics of eastern Taiwan, and carry forward the creation of art through emphasis and mindfulness in art preservation and C&C industry.
